SETA is committed to meeting hospital needs in education for their responsibilities concerning tissue donation. Healthcare professionals, including administrators and physicians, have a critical role in making tissue donation possible, by referring patient deaths to SETA for donor evaluation.
At each of the hospitals in the SETA donation service area, our Hospital Development Coordinators work with administrators, physicians, nurses and allied staff to develop and maintain protocols, analyze data, educate through regular in-service trainings, explain new processes, and follow up on every opportunity for donation, whether realized or missed.
