Medical Examiner
Southeast Tissue Alliance works proactively with medical examiners in order to ensure that families have the opportunity to donate their loved-ones’ organs and tissues. Medical examiners are involved in all deaths under the Medical Examiner Act, including homicide, suicide and unusual deaths. SETA is an educational resource by providing training on donation to medical examiners and their staff. Through the support of medical examiners, SETA helps to make more donations possible.
